Bob Packard Cup

Golf legend Tom Watson hosted the Bob
Packard Cup, a new tournament to raise funds for ALS research at Hopkins.
Watson, co-host and longtime friend Frank "Sandy" Tatum, Jr.,
and other organizers anticipate that the tournament will raise at least
$1 million for the Center to accelerate the development of effective therapies
and ultimately a cure for ALS. Watson, who began playing on the Senior
Tour in 1999, has been a generous supporter of ALS research since his
caddy Bruce Edwards was diagnosed with the disease in January of 2003.
