True
Northport High student-planned gala
raises $80,000 for ALS research and families afflicted with ALS

Long Island's famed Oheka Castle
was the perfect setting
for A Midwinter Night's Dream.
Hundreds of guests gathered to enjoy a festive
evening, including dinner,
entertainment, and live and silent auctions.
David Cone, former pitcher for the Yankees and Mets, accepts the
2005 Hero For Hope award from a Northport High student.
Members of the gala committee savor the moment, celebrating the success
of the evening with teacher David Deutsch (standing, left), pitcher David
