Based on Mitch Albom’s inspirational novel that
was on the New York Times bestseller list for more than four
years, Tuesdays with Morrie is the autobiographical story of
the relationship between a career-obsessed journalist and his former
college professor, Morrie Schwartz. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch
catches Morrie’s appearance on a television news program and learns
his old professor has ALS. Mitch is reunited with Morrie, and what starts
as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a last class in
the meaning of life.
The stage version of this much acclaimed novel
is being performed at the Hippodrome in Baltimore, MD. The
Hippodrome is offering discounted tickets to Johns Hopkins employees
and friends of the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns
Hopkins, for $20 off evening performances on November 15 - 17, November
22 - 23, and the matinee performance on November 25.
The deadline for discounted tickets
is Friday, November 11, 2005.
