William H. Adams Foundation to match all donations between now and the end of 2011Make your gift go further this holiday season.

This December, a gift to the Packard Center carries extra support for ALS research. The William H. Adams Foundation recently announced that it would match all gifts between now and the end of the year, up to $50,000.
“The Adams Foundation is excited by the Packard Center’s focus and research results, and is pleased to be its partner in the search for a cure,” says Ken Hagen, Adams Foundation director. The William H. Adams Foundation for ALS Research was founded in 2008 by Bill Adams, a prominent San Francisco-based financial executive and community leader who had been recently diagnosed with the disease. Since its inception, the Foundation has contributed over $1 million to fund cutting-edge research under Packard Center Director Jeffrey Rothstein. Even though its founder died in 2010, The Adams Foundation continues to support ongoing research in an effort to find a cure for the disease. “We are very grateful to the William H. Adams Foundation for their generous support of the Packard Center and our year-end giving campaign. The Adams Foundation has been a terrific partner in our battle against ALS,” noted Milan Karol, the Center’s Development Officer.
